The first thing Nathan did after returning was throw all of Cecilia's belongings out of the marital home. It was raining heavily that day too. Her designer suitcases were dumped outside the door, while her assistants stood nearby, too afraid to touch them. When she got out of the car, she lost the composed, aristocratic air she had always worn so effortlessly. "Nathan, how dare you treat me like this?"
