As I stare at the mirror couldn't believe that it was me. Am looking like a superstar or a stylish tycoon. This is so amazing I love the new me.
"Do you like it", the barber who just attended me asked.
"I love it", I slightly grin and nod.
"Thank you sir", he says and I begin to wonder why is he thanking me. Is this how guys are treated in the luxurious barbershops.
Afterwards we head back to Tamima's home. On the way, I begin to fear of knowing the truth. I must man up and face my fears. I have to seek my revenge and make all those who made my life miserable pay.
I head straight to my room in Tamima's mansion. For the past forty hours haven't checked my phone. As I switch it on, my evil uncle and his evil son tried to call me a couple of times. My small sister as well and I can't ignore her. After the call, am glad that she's well and I can't wait to see her soon after I return a totally different man.
"Miss Tamima wants you in her jewelry room now", the butler informs me and I walk towards the room.
As I walk in, I see Tamima sitting on the study table at the far end. She seems serious and I know what she is about to tell me is serious.
"Woow...!!! You look cute", she faintly grins at me.
"Thank you I didn't expect all this".
"There is more to come believe me. Just sit", she instructs me and I obey.
"Really...", I raise a brow at her.
"Yeah, About what happened yesternight. I know you have so many unanswered questions in your mind. Right...", She lifts a brow at me and I hastily nod.
"That place where we were is the reason why am so wealthy, influential and powerful. I was a nobody before, I joined the secret society. I have been there for the past seven years. Life has become better and I now swim in cash", she explains and I stare at her. Why is she sugarcoating that place?
"How can life be better and my past experience there was hell...", I wrinkle my brows and she slightly chuckles softly.
"That was your first test. It's nothing compared to the rest", she informs me and I see the sincerity in her voice.
"Test ...", I gape confused.
"Yes... that was to test if you are brave enough to join the society or not", she answers.
"I don't understand explain further", I need more details.
"Do you remember when you were feeling extreme pain. You were to die at that point since you failed the test", She informs me.
"Yes I do and you stopped him right. Am confused now".
"You can't go back Blake. Your either in or dead. You must be strong and ready to face this Blake. The outcome will be spectacular", she assures me and my heart clenches what is she talking about...?
"You mean am now a member of your secret society now", I ask staring at her intesively. Why couldn't she read my mind now?
"Yes you become the moment I took you there. You should clear all the thoughts in your mind now. I can hear you", she slightly grins.
"How can you read my mind ", I hastily raise the obvious question.
"Cause I have that power".
"Whaaaat...!!! Your scaring me more!!"
"Yes Blake so I need you to be strong and ready to face your reality now. Nothing comes easy and if you want something you need to pay a price. In the society you will be required to undergo some few tests and do things that humans don't do. If I did it and you must be able to do it since your a man", she explains grabbing my hand in a tight grip. Is this thing that am about to go through dangerous.
"What do you mean. Is this mission dangerous", I ask clearly knowing her reply. I just need confirmation to prepare myself psychologically. I must do this for my sister and I.
"It is deadly Blake. You have to be brave and strong or else you won't survive to tell the story", My heart beat accelerates as my body is covered with goose bumps.
What have I entered into...?
I wanted to run for safety but my body wouldn't allow me to do that. My heart was throbbing in my ears very fast and Tamima saw the fear in me. I couldn't hide it. I know she sees me as a weakly.
"I won't tell you all the details since your a beginner. It's one of the rules not to. Once your fully a member you will come to understand everything about it. And the biggest rule is to never tell anyone about this secret society. Since it's a secret... society", she stands up and sits on the edge of the table beside me.
Why does it seem like she's seducing me...!!!
I stare at her while my jaws drops at what am seeing. Her eyes turns to pure black and she has this devilish scary look. Fear cripples me, every part of me is freezing every muscle of my body.
"Don't be afraid of me am Tamima", her voice is like that of a man.
She lifts my chin using her fore finger.
"Look at me Blake...!!!" She orders me and her voice is hoarse. How can a pretty lady like her have such a scary voice.
"Don't you dare blink, stare at me Blake", she stares at me intesively and her eyes turns from black to red.
Ooh...!!! No...!! Is this woman a daimon.
"Aaaah what is happening", I muttered in fear.
"I have lost possession to my soul Blake", she informs me as her eyes turns normal.
"What do you mean by that ", I lift a brow at her wanting to move far but she couldn't let me.
"You will understand about that soon", she gives me that evil smirk and licks her lips seductively.
"Stop being a little coward. You should man up or else you won't be able to succeed in our secret society", I can feel her hot breath as she speaks.
"I will try", I answer and her reaction amuses me.
"You should not try. You should do it", she informs me in a more commanding voice rather than an encouraging one.
How can a lady be this strong and powerful?
Who is this Tamima and what's her position in that secret society?
How can I allow myself to fail this mission? No I won't allow that to happen.
