"What are you talking about, baby? I don't understand what you are saying. Come on, rest a bit more. The doctor said you need a lot of rest." I tried touching his forehead, but he moved away.
"Don't touch me, Mom! You don't love me like you claim." I could see tears in his eyes as he said those words.
"Don't say that, baby. Mommy loves you so much! Don't make Mommy feel bad, okay?" He scoffed. My eyes widened. This would be the first time he would be scoffing at me. I just pray I find a way out of this situation.
"Tell me, Mom. Why did you lie to me? Didn't you say you didn't know who he was? I asked you several times, but you denied it. Why?" I sighed tiredly. I should just tell him the truth since he's already aware of it. Lying at this rate will only make matters worse.
