There's no going back now, Alisha!" My eyes widened as I halted in my spot.
"That's not funny, Uncle Henry; you are scaring me," Daniel broke into another round of tears.
"Stop it, Henry! You are scaring my kid!" I threatened, hoping he would stop, but instead, he dropped the bags he was carrying and hastened his speed.
Immediately, I dropped the tiny bag I was carrying so I could hold Daniel properly, and then I turned and fled. As I ran, I could hear his loud footsteps.
Why is Henry doing this? So he brought us here to scare us or rather get us killed?
I descended the stairs as fast as my legs could carry me. I got to the last staircase only to see another Henry standing in front of us.
