"Tell me you didn't do it?" He gazed at me and then shook his head.
"I didn't, my lady. I have no reason to," he defended.
"Quickly, send messages to the wolf lord. Tell him his presence is needed here." I sent him away; it was now just the guard I came with and myself. If he truly had no hand in it, then who killed her? Who could possibly write me a letter with blood?
