A lanky young cowboy cut the engine while surveying unfamiliar territory. He exited the big Dodge with trepidation, flicking his cigarette to the sidewalk and stepping cautiously into the restaurant, smoke exhausting from his nostrils. He stood at the entrance, scanning the restaurant’s worn interior, searching for a guy he’d never met, whose profile description made his guts knot.
