Twenty-fiveCaribbean › Saturday, December 6, 2008 › 07h15 Jayson awoke early, after a restless but uneventful night. He stood on the foredeck observing the dawning of a new day, witnessing colors that reminded him of post-hurricane skies littered with grayish- and silver-lined clouds. A light breeze attempted to clear the sky as the sun’s rays filtered through the billows, holding the promise of a warm day as the crew prepared to set sail. Two hours after raising anchor, and thirty miles south of the western tip of Cuba, Jayson and the crew sat up on the bridge-deck lounge, with its glass windows and doors open to the surrounding Gulf. After a good breakfast and some encouraging words from Jayson about their next adventure, they seemed pumped and ready for the next leg of the trip. Tony
