After being taken prisoner aboard Captain Low’s brigantine, I was taken to New Providence, a pirate stronghold and then set free to live or die on my own. Since I have seen the fragile weakness of fear and flight, I have chosen to live a more vibrant life. I live by my wits alone, and although this town is run by the Brotherhood of the Sea, there is a surprising semblance of order among the disorder. The wild boisterous spirit of this island and her people suits me. I’ve learned how to handle weapons of every sort, and have bested several men who dared to challenge me.
