CHAPTER ELEVEN The first part of Saturday morning, Audrey utilised her limited calligraphy skills making signs: Kitchen / Tea Room Lavatories Common Room Dormitories The local florist had placed vases of flowers in every dormitory room to cover any remaining musty smells. Eleanor had closed her Olde Tea Shoppe following the Saturday lunch rush and had come to help Audrey serve tea. ‘But, won’t you lose business?’ ‘I’ve stuck a sign on the door informing my regulars that if they come up here they can partake in a free tea.’ She cast an eye over the vast quantities of sandwiches, pastries and cakes in the kitchen, ‘I have to admit, your caterers have done a good job.
