CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT
Audrey was reluctant to let her sons know what had happened to her, but she was worried that they would try and call her mobile phone, which she no longer had.
‘I saw your handbag in the river,’ Tony said, sitting by Tina on one of their daily visits.
‘What a nuisance – I liked that bag!’ She smiled. ‘I also liked my phone, purse and debit card.’
‘We have a spare iPhone at the office,’ Tina said. ‘I’ll bring it in so you can take your time going through emails. Can you remember your password?’
‘I think so. Fortunately, not everything got washed away.’
