CHAPTER SEVENTEEN It’s a few days since I last wrote my thoughts down, so I have quite a bit to tell you – and it’s not happy news. On the Monday morning after the weekend break on the moors, the whole school was brought together for morning chapel. Every member of staff looked very solemn, and for the first time, the headmaster seemed unsure of himself.
