~RYKER~
I knew I was going to bump into Jade here. As a matter of fact, I had been looking forward to it.
I wasn't the same old scrawny bastard she left to marry an Alpha. I ran a motorcycle club filled with rogues that didn't want to succumb to the system.
Alphas all over the world feared the mention of my name and those who oppressed me when I was nobody fell to their knees and begged for my mercy.
I had risen above all odds and I came here specifically to rub it in her face. To show her what she missed when she decided to leave me because of power and money.
“Make her kneel” I ordered and immediately, she was pushed to her knees but her eyes never wavered from mine.
She looked like she had seen a ghost.
I took her appearance in and although she was way thinner than I remembered, nothing and no one could ever compare to how radiant she was.
Even though I hated her with everything in me, I could never deny her beauty. She was like a rose with deadly thorns.
“What? You can't speak anymore?” I asked and she opened her mouth to speak but Damon beat her to it.
“So you're the rogue rider's president” He muttered coldly and I smirked before slowly turning towards him.
He barely changed from the last time I saw him three years ago. Still an annoyingly little bastard who thought he was better then everyone else.
“I am indeed. Surprised that the little rogue you once looked down on is bigger than you'll ever wish to be?” I asked and he clenched his jaws before glancing behind me, at Jade.
“You're here for Jade aren't you? This is what this is about?” He asked and I scoffed slightly.
“She's nothing to me so why would I be here for her?” I asked and my Wolf slightly protested within me but I ignored him.
Even after all these years, he never once rejected the mate bond. He still cared for her even after she left us and if he weren't my wolf, I would have severed all ties with him.
“Then why the f**k are you here? Why did you attack my pack?” He asked angrily and I tilted my head then chuckled.
“For a man who is currently at my mercy, you talk way too aggressively” I muttered as I walked closer to him.
“But since you want to know then fine. Your men killed one of my brothers three days ago and I came here to avenge him” I told him and his eyes widened.
“What? All this for something I don't even know about?” He asked and I nodded.
“I don't play when it comes to my brothers and in my book, one hit on my brothers deserved several deaths to be compensated” I stated and the girl behind him screamed as my vice president, Zane held up a knife to her neck.
“Please don't kill me. I'm pregnant!” She wailed and I raised an eyebrow as I watched the way she clung onto Damon’s arms.
As far as I know, he never had any siblings.
I let out a laugh as Realization dawned on me. I glanced back at Jade and she hadn't stopped staring at me.
“So this was who you left me for? A cheating bastard?” I asked and I had expected a way of satisfaction to dawn on me knowing she hadn't been as happy as she had hoped all the years but what I felt was the opposite.
I wanted nothing more than to rip out Damon’s tongue but I forced a smile on my face as I stared at her.
She didn't deserve my pity, not one bit.
She still didn't say anything and just kept staring and her silence annoyed me more than I had expected.
“You already took several innocent lives. Let us go” Damon muttered and I reluctantly turned to him.
“If you crawl over and kiss my feet then I'll consider it” I told him with a slight smile and his surviving people gasped while he glared at me.
“You're still a dirty little scum, Ryker. No matter what you f*****g do or who you become, you'll always be a disgrace and the man that couldn't keep his own damn mate” He uttered with a smirk.
My eyes twitched with annoyance as I clenched my jaw.
“Wrong answer” My sergeant at arms, Silas muttered before slashing the neck of the woman who he was holding.
“Mother!” Damon screamed as he tried reaching for her but was held back by my patch members.
“How dare you?!” Damon screamed as he turned to me with fury blazing in his eyes and I just smiled.
“Three years ago, you had come into my life and ruined it without remorse. How dare I?” I questioned and he gritted his teeth as he glared at me.
“Should we kill them off, Prez?” Zane questioned and I raised my chin.
“Kill the rest, leave these two” I pointed at Damon and his slut and immediately, loud cries filled the air as they slaughtered the rest.
“Why don't you just kill me then?!” Damon screamed and I tilted my head.
“We haven't seen each other in three years. Are you that eager to get away from me? We have a lot to catch up on” I said with a grin then nodded at Zane and together with Silas, they lifted them up from the ground and led them away while Damon screamed curses at me.
“And this one, Prez?” The patch member holding her asked and I slowly turned around to face her.
“Leave her. Go to the others” I ordered and he immediately let go of her and walked away.
As soon as we were alone, I moved closer to her. I reached out to touch her face but she swatted my hand away then stood up and tried running away but I grabbed onto her waist and pulled her towards my chest, instantly loving how she felt being pressed up against me.
Fuck, even after all these years, after what she did to me, my body still responded to her.
“Aren't you tired of running, little mouse?” I asked as she struggled against my hold.
“Let me go! If you want to kill me then just do it!” She screamed and I frowned.
After all these years, that was the first thing she had the guts to tell me?
I spun her around quickly and she gasped as I wrapped my fingers around her neck.
“Let me make one thing clear to you right now. I give zero f***s about you and would have wished we'd never crossed paths again in this life time but now that we have, I'll make sure you regret ever leaving me” I muttered.
“I'll ruin you just like you ruined me”...
