Chapter Thirty Nine: Jo
Jo “You need to calm down and breathe.” Gage mumbled from the other side of the room, but not to me, but to Archer. It took almost a good hour for Archer to even move away from Jamie. When he brought him to his bed and after he finally released me from his tight, trembling grip, he crawled into the bed with Jamie and just laid there. He stared at the wall and didn’t move. It was like he was in a trance and I couldn’t break him out of it. It was actually quite terrifying. I don’t know what happened when he was gone and I didn’t know how to bring it up. The whole day has been a whirlwind of emotions and I didn’t know what to feel. I was happy for most of the day, spending time with the girls and everyone else at the rink and helping them get ready for the fundraiser they throw. I remember
