Wolves shouting at each other, pack members staring at Gale with expressions ranging from shock to pity to something that looks almost like recognition—like they always suspected but never wanted to know for sure.
"I'm bisexual," Gale says, his voice rising over the noise, trying to salvage something from the wreckage. "That doesn't make me unfaithful. I still loved my wife. I still wanted our marriage to work. The physical relationships I had on the side were just that—physical. They didn't mean anything."
"They didn't mean anything," Knox repeats flatly. "You cheated on your wife for eight years with multiple partners and it didn't mean anything. But her leaving you for one man—one time—after years of your abuse and lies... that's the unforgivable betrayal?"
