The whole car ride was deathly silent. Damon had officially humiliated me. Also, I never really made friends that easily. It was never something I was good at. I was shown mercy by the moon goddess when I met Jayden. I had to say something, anything rather than sit with her in silence.
"Nice weather we're having today." I spoke and instantly regretted saying anything, should have just kept my mouth shut and sat in silence.
"You really just asked me about the weather?" Delilah laughed and then I laughed.
"Yeah I guess I did. I just wanted to ease the tension." I giggled.
