Madilyn's POV
After my shower, I came downstairs and all my bags were packed. Everyone is standing in the living room waiting for me.
"You ready to go?" Max says, kind of in a rush.
"If we want to make it by nightfall we need to leave now," Amy says.
"Yeah let's go Madi, you take really slow showers, you know?" Rory says, mocking me.
I laugh.
"Yeah umm... Let me go get something from my room. Max, put my bags in my car and I'll be down in a minute." I said nervously.
I went back upstairs and opened my floorboard in my closet. I pulled out a tiny teddy bear. This bear was given to me by my Mom before she left.
I rushed downstairs. Amy and Rory rode with me and I followed behind Max who was driving Amy's car and Jayden was behind me.
