Chapter 3

Madilyn's Graduation POV This is it. This is the day that I have been waiting for. Graduation day. I still won't be 18 for another 2 and a half months, but at least I get to spend the summer getting my room ready at my Aunts'. I didn't get into the University of Washington, but I did get into the University of Portland. Thats only a three-hour drive from Jayden and a one-hour drive from my Aunt and Rory in Toledo. Everything is going to be perfect, it has to be. My Aunt is coming to my graduation and from there she will be taking us home with her until school starts in September. My Dad actually agreed to let me go to the graduation party, which shocked me, but Aunt Amy can convince him to do anything. I don't even care about the graduation part. This is my first party, EVER. I have to look amazing, especially if I want to sleep with Aleczander. After the painfully long ceremony, we all got back home. I knew I needed to go shopping ASAP. "Aunt Amy, could you take me shopping for a dress for the party tonight?" I asked. "Absolutely dear, help me put away these groceries and then we will go and afterwards get some dinner?" she said. "Okay!" I squealed with excitement. On our way to the mall, I noticed Aunt Amy giving me the side eye. Was she disappointed in what I was wearing? Was she debating about whether or not to start a conversation? Either way, it made me uncomfortable, but I didn't want to say anything, so we both just sat the whole car ride in silence. Once we got to the mall, we went into every store until I finally found the perfect dress. It was a red spaghetti strap mini dress with a v cut that showed off more of my right leg. It was perfect. My butt wasn't exposed but my boobs were almost halfway out. To be honest, I looked like a hoe. I really didn't care, I just wanted Aleczander to notice me. With this dress how could he not? My brown curls fall perfectly against the back of this red dress. I am stunning. After we found the dress, me and my Aunt went to dinner. I could tell there was something she wanted to ask me. "Do you want to ask me something?" I said, shoving down a mouthful of fettuccine Alfredo. "Actually, yes." My aunt responded. "I was wanting to know if you've had any weird dreams lately?" she asked, pushing her food from one side to the other. I almost choked. How did she know? All year I have had that stupid dream about me and the wolf. Should I tell her? I don't want her to think she is taking in damaged goods and pulling the plug on the whole plan. So I lied. "No, not really. I barely remember my dreams." I said, trying to avoid eye contact. "If you were, you know you can tell me, you can tell me anything," she said, giving me a sort of pleading look. She is my aunt. She loves me and Rory. I can trust her. Right? "Well, I have been having this one dream. I am in a meadow and a wolf appears and we become one." I said, now pushing my food around. She smiled. Was it funny to her ? Sometimes I wish I could read peoples minds. "Did it start around your 17th birthday?" she asked. "Something like that," I responded. She shook her head and for the rest of dinner we just talked about boys and what Washington was like. When we got home, I immediately went to my room. Jayden would be there in an hour, so I needed to get ready. I had to look sexy. After an hour had passed, I heard my dad yell, "Jayden's here." I rushed downstairs and out the door without so much as an I love you. I knew Dad would kill me if he had seen what I was wearing. When we got in the car, Jayden looked me up and down and just gave me a look like she wanted to eat me. "You know I'm bisexual, you can't dress like this around me." she said flirtatiously. I blushed and responded, "Maybe I want you to get a taste." We both laughed. Me and Jayden flirted with each other all the time. There were times when I thought we would be more, but we both decided that being friends was best for everyone. She blasted Dua Lipa the whole way there. We were in party mode. When we got to the location, I was shocked. It was Aleczander's house. My heart skipped a beat. This was it, this was the night I lost my virginity to a guy I have loved since forever. We walked in and everyone was dancing and drinking. It is almost like that dream I had around New Years. I spotted Aleczander from across the room. He was the sexiest man I had ever seen. With confidence, I walked through the crowd making my way to him when suddenly I got this earth-shattering headache. I rushed outside, maybe I just needed some air. I wasn't used to this kind of scene. That's when Aleczander's best friend Jamie approached me. He was tall but not as tall as Aleczander. He had straight blonde hair and hazel eyes. His nose was sharp and narrow, his jaw bone could cut you. He was very muscular, but next to Aleczander there was no comparison. "You're Madilyn, right?" Jamie said. "Ummm... Yes, Yeah. I'm Madilyn." I responded awkwardly. He chucked and said, "You look different tonight. Not that I've ever seen you outside of school, so maybe you look like this all the time and I just haven't noticed." "No, I was lucky enough to have gotten to come here tonight. My Dad is pretty strict," I said. "Yeah, my parents try to be, but then again they get busy and don't notice when I leave or when I am gone," he responded. "My Dad would notice that no one had cleaned and come search for me with a search party if necessary." I chuckled. Jamie laughed back. I couldn't tell if he was laughing with me or at me. He was nice and I hated to cut the conversation short, but I needed to find Aleczander. "It was nice talking to you but I need to use the restroom. Maybe I will catch up with you later," I said. As I was walking away, I got this gut feeling that something was wrong. As I searched through the crowd, not only could I not find Aleczander, but I couldn't find Jayden either. I started to search the first floor and had no luck. I started on the second floor and when I opened the last door on the right, my heart broke into a million pieces. I found Aleczander. I also found Jayden. Jayden was on the floor sucking his c*ck. I couldn't believe this was happening. "Jayden?" I said brokenly. She looked up at me and I could see in her eyes that she didn't expect to get caught. I ran downstairs and out the front door. She was right on my tail. "Madilyn!" She yelled. "Madilyn stop!" she yelled even louder. I stopped in my tracks, tears in my eyes. I didn't want to turn around. I didn't want to face the betrayal. I was gone for 15 minutes. Jayden came around to stand in front of me but I still couldn't look her in the eyes. She knew how much I loved him. She never even liked him. "Madilyn, you have to listen to me," she pleaded. "I never meant for you to find out," she said. "We have been hooking up since Christmas. It's nothing serious, just s*x. I swear. This was going to be our last night together because I was supposed to be coming with you to your Aunts before school started." she said with desperation in her voice. What could I say to her? He was never mine. Can I really be this mad over someone that was never mine? Jayden was beautiful, so I could see why he would want to be with her, her perfect, coiled black hair. Her dark brown eyes. Her plump ass and big boobs. And don't get me started on her honey brown skin. She was a goddess. How could I be mad at her? She has the courage to go after what she wants. But instead of telling her that, I said, "You're no longer invited. I never want to see you again," I said, without making eye contact. I walked past her, bumping her with my shoulder. My walking turned into sprinting and that turned into running. Before I knew it, I was back in my bed. That was the first night I blacked out.
