Tan’s POV
I was shell-shocked watching Sari go away but I had no intention to stop her. She needed space and she needed guidance. So, I saw her car disappear out of my sight before heading in.
My phone started ringing at the same moment and I phished it out of pocket to find my investigator calling me.
“Hello?” I asked and he cleared his voice at the other end.
“Sir, I think we have got a lead.” He said at the other end, seemingly fidgeting with some fact.
"Are you sure about it? I don’t want any mistake in this matter.” I was curious yet nervous to know what he has found.
“Yes Sir, indeed. I would prefer you coming here or should I come there?” The confidence in his voice was unwavering and I swallowed; accepting the offer of visiting him.
