Adrian’s POV
She’s here… in my arms… breathing softly. I smiled down at her sleeping form and dared not blink an eye. It’s been half an hour as she is peacefully sleeping. Meanwhile, I decided to talk to the manager about her security.
So, selecting a tee-shirt of mine, I pulled it on her. She sleepily eyed me and I quickly pecked her forehead and tummy. Making sure she was going back to sleep, I put her in my boxer and covered her up before heading out. My phone buzzed with a message notification.
Den: We’re on our way.
His text brought back my insecurity and my footsteps rushed towards the reception. The manager turned her eyes on me and greeted with a big smile.
“Mr. Martin, is your wife enjoying the stay?” She asked and I gave her a pleasant smile.
