“Sir!” I stood attentively, waiting for dad to tell me why he called.
He seemed tense. As I watched him sitting there in deep thoughts, I couldn’t help but be uneasy.
Richard finally lifted his eyes and stared at me.
With a heavy sigh he rubbed his knees before acknowledging me.
“Tan, as you already know Adrian is back and I am sorry that I couldn’t go on with what I decided. I know you would be hurt and I am sorry, son.” He blabbered and though it slightly left a pang in my chest, I smiled.
“Dad… you don’t need to stress yourself over it. We’re cool.” He gave an uncertain glance and I nodded my head to make it more convincing.
