Second Day

“What did you say, Mr. Porter?” Amidst the cold sweat drenching down his courier’s uniform, Juno’s query was neglected. Rest of the party were attempting to find out the problem that persists by looking inside the container, and all of them left bewildered as much as the first one ever did. Two police officers were informing the cause of havoc to their department and ordered to locate the culprit and their expensive takeaway, but can't give anything much further than inspecting the body of the container truck in intensive caution.  Because of all the ruckus, Juno and Je-llo came on to the container, only to see that the frame and its content were stolen. Juno’s mind soaring high, thinking of many ways that the demon could do to prevent the deal happened. It might be down there to rob his goods straight away, or doing some ancient mystic arts which intercepted any invalid purchase occurred within the month of prohibition. Aside of Juno, Je-llo was also felt deluded by what’s happening at the moment. His mouth opted to be liberated of its duty, winding down as it tries to go out off the jaw. It went for awhile until he decided to call somebody in dealing with the problem, especially since it was one huge investment and a national treasure in general. “Hello, this is Riko Tejo- Yes, I am Je-llo, but you’re in office hours, so I’m better be on manners with you- I want to report on the robbery of my friend’s belongings, ‘the last supper’, so please arrange an extensive search and deploy all of the city’s police officers- what? Come on, man, this is world treasure! How could you-“ Je-llo then pouting back to his phone as if someone could hear him inside,”You bastard!” Retorted him excessively,”How come there’s another huge outbreak in the city? All of the officers against mere demonstration? Hah!” “Don’t be so concerned, Je. You’re not the guilty party for this.” Consoled Juno as he pats Je-llo’s back,”I am the one that should be worried, not you.” No matter how much he comforted Je-llo and his sanity, Juno’s own thoughts could not halted itself down to boiling conclusion of the event. The mystical pen, given the warning of the demon, has drifted the opportunity and crushed it immediately without pity. Half of his fortune were not returning at all. He can’t nurture his money from trees, or thinking of investment for lifetime with his remaining assets, as long as he stuck with the demon for years. --- There are not much reason to drag any of the other auctions for the time being. The word ‘sustenance’ could be meant that he was only permitted to buy goods that could supplement his and the crew’s maintenance for the month. And for the night after, he chose to have a pizza party in his mansion with the office crews whom has not slept for days for his long list of bargain. Two weeks later, most of his money were used up for luxury foods and drinks. He held open house food festival for the last time, which were attended by the famous personality of the block. For the last day before his presumed departure to the hell’s ground, he chose to hold another revel for his office crew to celebrate something that could be considered as positive rate of growth of their fame. --- It is the pivotal day of his tenure as the servant of a demon. He locked his personal room to ensure nobody could perceive his departure to the malevolent business of hell. Betty, the master maid of his mansion, was instructed to reject any guest for two hours of his disembark, and most of the office crew were all on one day holiday. “It’s waiting time- Uh, what should I do when I’m arrived?” Mumbled him as he sitting down cross-legged upon the bed. All of sudden, a red hollow was growing in front of his leg-side of the bed. It enlarged to be one small portal that is sufficient for Juno to enter alone. Juno seemed hesitant to push into it due to last-time tragedy, but that was still his obligation to the beast as a token of appreciation to its generosity. Before going inside the swiveling vortex, he stopped for awhile,”Please be my luck for today’s work!” mumbled Juno as words of charm for his luck across the devil’s town. Shortly after, the small flux of shadows teleported him to the rented room of the inn. It appeared that his latest progress inside the realm was frozen until he came back to its surface. The tatoo on  his left wrist still poised 30 level of the upwards step to the power ladder. The small-but conventional sword was on the table along with the common shield of his, hibernating while its master went on somewhere safe. “Everything is in order. For the date..” He checked on the demon’s calendar on the wall of his room, a papyrus-written list of demonic hieroglyphs that he somehow could read in an instant. It is the second day of Sata, the third month of the demon’s year and his last day before returning back to the cold soil of earth. Since he has been ousted from the land for long, Juno prepared the first hour of his life by reading the manual instruction of Rumbia. The demon gave him that book as he blabbered that it has infinite copies in its own publishing factory. He opened the table of content for level-up mechanism inside the book. He has one question stood amongst them monstrosity of his power, which was the random ability that the demon had uttered in the past. According to the latest explanation of the beast, it gave him information regarding the power that he could obtained whenever he nestled inside the realm of hell. “Ah-ha! The power upgrade.” Mumbled him as he found the terms within,”Hoo, so I’m only gotten access to it once I could pass the border of the first city, huh. I guess it’s time for ghoul slashing all over again.” Uttered him onwards as he glanced over the sword of his, before swinging it aloft excessively seconds later. ”Oh right, what about my deposit? Ah, it’s gone to dust. I have to restart with what I have left, huh.” As he had in mind before leaving the land, the entire savings of 3. Million dollars were all decimated. For his second life in the city, he has more than 700 millions of his expenditures over the past days on earth, with nothing of the former pile of money behind the zeroes of the amount,”I suppose the ghoul slashing would be a walk in the park. I have to travel beyond the border from now on.” Stated Juno before quitting the room for the fun of his life in hell. --- “Hyaah!” (s***h!) In one single smash of his sword, many of the ghouls were battered and tossed aside. He has enhanced five of his abilities exceeding the standard speed of running that he could reach yesterday. He coined half of his worth into the stats, therefore lifted up every parts of his energy into amazing rate. His agility has toppled 70.000 in the similar rate with the other part of his virtual statistics. With every hundred giving him 1 kilometer extra in running speed, he could sprint at 700 km/hours with ease and traveling across the land without much time to spend. “Whoa! I can breathe while running! This is awesome!” Shouted him onwards as he increased the speed accordingly to the borderline of the starting city. However, in his path to the outskirt part of the city’s border, he seemed to forget something important as he scratched the head several times in motion within the hasty dash that he does at the moment. “Oops, I forgot to look around and find out about the next city. I’ll have to ask Mia for this, so it's the cue for ghoul slashing routine, huh.” He then returned to the starting city, wasting every hundreds of kilometers that he traveled to come back and remorse on his absence. --- Far away beyond the radar of the new person of the realm, someone was watching closely on Juno’s progress from a distance. Upon the higher realm of hell, down below the seven stages of the world, the ancient demon laughed by the clumsy action of its human. The demon was sitting upon its throne of the huge castle, nested in the middle of barren red island encircled within the hotness of hell’s lava. Human souls, which resembled by millions of hands on the surface of the pit, were inside and drowned into the abyss for infinity. Dragons are flying across the castle’s airspace, while giants trampled the land with its humongous feet and none of living being other than abomination in this vicinity. “I’m a bit bored, my son. Please, hand me some entertainment before I make you suffer for lifetime.” Muttered the demon to the screen.  On the other way, somebody made a feat on killing three giants of the deepest realm of hell. He proceeded to jump across the huge lava pit and landed onto the red sand of the demon’s island. The man is burly, coated with thick golden armor and holding two axes in both hands. Protection magic was covering his blindspot against any incoming blaze and deflecting its talon when the creature trying to snatch him upwards.  “Get out of that rusty palace, you silly demon! Gave me the life back! I hate doing this all the time!” Shouted the man to the silver castle in the middle of the island. The demon inside seemingly uninterested with the clamoring man outside. One seconds later, an electric zap is coming out from its hand, instantly torturing the hero outside in a single hit. “You’re getting too long to get here, Tourant. I am already forgotten that you exist.”
