1608 Words
An hour had passed within the ransacking apartment of the main street. The deal among the two being of different plane were not accomplished yet. For the moment’s notice, The tramp was walking down the lobby’s aisle, plunged deep in his thoughts. He contemplated a lot of future repercussion of their contract, the imminent after-effect of their accord, and how it affects his life later on. ‘A big-hearted odds like this would never be there twice.’ rattled the man in his head as the final conclusion to his conflict. However, he failed to recall that the Demon could hear his fainted heart and its twiddling session underneath. The demon was giggled by the dramatic occurrences of the tramp, but reluctant to provoke him and his thought with further tease. When the tramp came closer and took a seat on the chair, He saw that the contract were bustling with unfathomable words and notions. There are 3 paragraphs, in which marked with cursive and clean hand writing, and all of them were glistening of red-fashioned ink. “Before we begin to seal the pact, I will inform you of the rules. First of all...” The demon strolling around the man a few times before lashing its next command. The tramp is looking at it with his cautious sneer and puts his vigilance to endure any shortcomings of the menacing creature. ”Are you ready to pull the risk, woeful human?” said the demon after pulling roundabouts 6 times straight in circle of the man. “I have no way to undo the process, Am I? Please continue.” The man nodded to the demon’s query with his stern expression. Out of nowhere, a white pentagram was inscribed under their feet. The circle was enacted in following to the Demon’s dubious movements earlier, whereas the pattern’s lines were glowing bright and filling the empty room with its beam. As the demon’s arms raising up, the light from each lines of the pentagram are growing even brighter in sync. It muttered some unknown rhyme, closing its own eyes to concentrate and focus with the mantra of practice. On the other way around, the tramp was digging up the trail of the demon by inspecting it near to the ground, touching it to ensure the demon’s power was rightfully there all along. “Once you signed the deal, no one in this world could erase nor terminate this contract to the end. Get the picture?” The demon mumbled towards the tramp in the middle of its spell induction. For the answer, the man was shrugged and appeared baffled towards the Demon’s sly exchange. “Typical of a devil, I presume? Not that I felt ill, but..” His body shivered a little bit as he muttered the words, “Okay. I wanna leak myself anyway, so please make haste, will ya?”   All of sudden, the pentagram’s light were turned red right after. The demon’s expression was grim and ghastly as it fixated its eyes to the unwary client before it. The glare were contracted heavily to the man, shuttered his mind respectively and stoop him down by the ominous order of its malevolent sight. “How dare you mocked my serene compliance, puny mortal?! Never left your composure anymore and beg for mercy!” Shout the Demon to the tramp. As the wall cracked up by its sheer force of power, the tramp was forced to follow its demand and kneeling down to the ground. Conversely, the hose of his burden down the crotch was forced to hold up by an unimaginable thrust from the pentagram’s light and made him unable to release the burst of dread immediately. “You are the strongest I’ve ever seen! Don’t kill me, master!” He screeched out from his lungs. “Hahaha, you are too petty for me to kill, anyway.” Mumbled the demon before It chanted a single demonic phrase to relieve the tramp’s constraint,”I am testing the water, back then, but no more games, alright?” The man could not help but agreeing to the demon’s path of bargain. He immediately swung himself back to the chair and jotted the blood from his index finger to sign. It was not difficult for him to mark the contract inwards, despite the size itself who were more like a fingerprint than an actual human signature, and finishing the pact for the next step to follow. “Is this enough—“ After the last drop of blood were tainted, the contract is bloating up to the air. It is not for long, however, as the paper was vanished and exchanged its positions with a small ball-point that dropped to the desk immediately. “Our bond is official, young human. Please let me read the terms and conditions of the contract in advance.” The demon unfurled the signed contract before the tramp. He coughed for two times, then followed by a sneeze,”Pardon me, it is required for me to do it. Here goes.” The light below the demon’s leg shook a spotlight for it to gain a vantage point. Dimmed panorama of the apartment’s lobby was shunned by the blinding light of the pentagram’s glow. The shapes of its moisturized muscle, as the demon has nothing to conceal its bulky body, were showing the rigorous hurdle of the demon within the past centuries. Scars were laid aplenty to every orifices that the Demon has on its torso, with a small tattoo of holy cross embedded over the chest. “Wow, you are definitely a good supermodel, man! Look at that pack!” Scream the tramp, as he felt amazed by the sight of the demon’s upper body before him. “I wonder why you are not asking about the cross, but it’s fine.” The demon replied his compliment in calm fashion,”So, the only rule you’ve had for the time being is.... to use that pen down there for filling an empty check with the amount of money you wished for.” The tramp’s jaw was dropping as he got stunned by the Demon’s rule. He couldn’t help but smiling in delight uncontrollably,”For real, Sir? I can write down any numbers to a blank check? Wouldn’t it be thrown away by the bank?” Asked the tramp for insurance of such amity from the creature. To the unexpected clamor of the man, The demon confirmed it with a nod from his head,”I had spell that one to you previously, Juno. I can granted everything you’ve wanted as greed.” Juno, as the Demon had said, went hysterical by the convincing haggle. He hopped violently for a few rounds before the fatigue halted his over-arching pleasure. “I am wondering how you know my identity, but since you’re a magician, It might be ‘cause of the mystical arts, right?” “For I am an old sage, a magic of this level is a plain sailing to me. However, there is a trivial notions for the agreement too, Juno.” Warn the Demon by his bland tone of melody down his mouth,” You have to spend them all by four years.” “Eh? Spend them all?” “Yes, Juno. If you can’t waste it in a whole when the time is up, the entire asset would be perished before your eyes.” The Demon added. It follows the end statement with menacing grin embossed on its face,”Many have failed to fulfill this tedious contract, Juno. You have to unleash the best potential inwards.” While the scene turned awkward by the somber ambience, The demon snap his finger to summon yet another paper on the desk “Here, your first ever paper to fill. Your money will be stored virtually at Hell’s bank. You have the leeway to transact anytime you wished for, with any check or contract that you have to encounter by a single swoop of this pen.” The Demon pushed the pen that it mentioned beforehand. An ominous aura was emanated from it, archetype of a product from doom’s factory itself. The outside layer of the pen were tinted with mixture of red and black color. A red-eyed skull is on the top of the pen, functioned as the trigger for Juno to utilize it entirely. “The design is authentic. Your country’s trademark, perhaps?” “No, I've ordered it this way for my own usage, and it does made myself to have specialized character down beyond.” Juno was thrilled to review the pen firsthand. He brings up the pen closer and rummage onto the style in full inquisitive manner,“By the curve, it is perfect for an old-fashioned writer. But I haven’t touch anything like this for long.” “Do not set yourself in qualm, young human. The supernatural feature of this pen would handle your incapacitating circumstances in a flash. So please, scribble your wish to the paper, Juno.” Juno clicked upon the trigger and took a deep breath,“The pressure of this pen is amazing. I can feel the thrust of the tip vividly through my thumb.” He followed the excitement of holding up the pen by pushing the trigger profusely. By the time He instilled the value needed for the challenge, the demon was inspecting him all the time and looking directly to his heart. It smiled while waiting for him to finish, at several times on count, but out of Juno’s knowledge to fetch. “One billion? Where is your greed, Juno? You can exceed everybody’s wealth in this world with it.” Groaned the demon after looking at the number that Juno had jotted to the check. “That dubious compromise had me shuddered, man. I can’t pretend to forget it exists.” The Demon cleared out the check with his finger’s flick, along with the desk and the apartment’s platform, to leave a vacant plot of lands behind. “So be it, then. Welcome to the Richman’s club, Juno, and be extravagant with the cash, alright?”
