While Rachel ran into the wood to find Carlos to talk him into giving his dad a listening ear concerning his Dad's absence for his art exhibition day, Scarlett and Louis were still inside the hallway trying to make sure everyone's shoes are checked. Scarlett knew it would be awkward for her to persuade them to check their shoes in their classes so she and Carlos decided to hide and squat just behind the staircase while pointing the UV light in the direction of their footpath.
