Part 2

417 Words
The first day, I was alone. There were only strangers, no one from where I live. I am not going to assume that I was okay with it, even though I love being alone, because it was scary. However, I’ve quickly found that the group was really affable. Everyone was talking to everyone; there were no groups with in the group. It took us one day to arrive at our destination. I was exhausted, as everyone. Our leaders explained things but no one was listening. Even them, once they said something, they couldn’t remember what it was a second later. It was funny seeing them trying to remember and asking questions to themselves. So after this whole introduction thing, we went to our bedroom which was huge. I had never seen anything like this before. That was, I think, my favourite moment of this journey. We laughed so hard about the day and what had happened that I don’t think I will laugh like it again. So, finally, this camp isn’t so bad after all! Today is the last day here. I am not going to lie, I am happy to leave. We are not going away until the end of the day, so we still have one last activity!! Yeah!! They haven’t told us yet what it is going to be and that’s what is scaring us! Usually they would have teased us about “which amazing thing we are about to do tomorrow” but yesterday they were like no, it is a secret and we are not going to blab. They have never done this hence we are quite reluctant about it. We tried to guess what they planned and every suggestion was worse than the previous one, which was absolutely funny. We kept thinking about it during the whole evening. We should know the schedule in a minute or two. I am somewhat excited to hear about our last activity and especially what it will be. Our monitor is clapping his hands in order to have everyone’s attention. He starts talking about how these two weeks have been. It lasts five minutes. Five minutes is not really long when you think about it. Though when you are waiting for something to come up and it doesn’t, I can assure you that it feels like an hour of talking about boring stuff. He can see how annoyed we are and so he decides to stop and to tell us which activity we are about to do.
