Last part

Our last clue was odd. It wasn’t telling us to find a special animal. If we understood well, we need to find a plant. We are in the forest, there are plants EVERYWHERE. We have no other clues so we start to look for a strange plant. Something unique, which would draw our attention. We know that we have not seen something like this yet so we decided to go where we haven’t been. We are still searching. Everyone has an area that he has to cover by searching everywhere. I am almost at the end of mine, when I spot A PARCHMENT. I open it and when I read the first sentence I am calling my group right away. We won! It reads: “Congrats, you have won this scavenger hunt! You can now come back to the picnic area with this note!” We run as we have never run before. We are so happy! When we see another group, we tell them that we won and that they can come back. As soon as we join the monitors in the picnic area with the other groups, we ask a thousand of questions and talk with everyone. It’s such a commotion. At some point, one of our monitors claps his hands and ask for our attention. “So, we have our dear winners. Please come next to me.” She asks. Once we have done it, they tell us our reward. At first, I am disappointed. I don’t even know if the word disappointed can represent what I really felt. We are going to spend another week in another summer camp. Our parents knew about it so there are no excuses. I wanted so badly to come back home and they just told me that it is not going to happen yet! I am starting to put things into perspective when they detail every possible activity there. How big it is and how amazing this camp is. We are currently on our way to the new summer camp. I have spoken to my dad before leaving and he seemed good. Obviously not great but better than when I left him. He was glad to hear that I have made some friends here and that my team won the scavenger hunt. He asked me if I remembered when they have done a little one for me and we talked about it and about mum. It was really nice. I had some tears in the corners of my eyes but it was okay. A week later: I don’t want to leave. I want to spend the rest of my life here. It was amazing. I have no words to describe how great it was. I am definitely going to ask my dad to go there next year. During the week, we have done a thousand of activities. I have met new people, amongst them, some live quite close to me! I will never forget this summer and how it helped me being really happy again.
