Atlas:

Goddess help me I’ve been a nervous wreck since I asked her on this date. I just don’t want to mess this up she is amazing I legitimately could not have asked for a better mate, her raven hair it shines like a black silk and her eyes do t even get me started about how if I stare at them to long I start stuttering like a i***t, this woman does things to me. I sigh to myself, but damn it I love every moment of me feeling like a dopey love sick puppy. Though there are some draw backs, I eye my future father in law who looks at me as if he is warning me to be on my best behavior. Now I’m an alpha so I’m less intimidated than most but he is my mates dad and that’s all I need to know that if I make one wrong move I’m dead. I smile at him and he flares his nostrils in return then nodding to me after. Well at least he doesn’t want to rip me apart, so baby steps I guess.

Then, I smell it, the intoxicating scent hits my nostrils. It’s like cinnamon and campfire on a hot summer night. It brings peace to me all fear, nervousness and anxiety just slip away, I stare up at my beautiful mate, and I’m just blown away. She looks breathtaking,speaking of which I forgot how to breath for a moment. Her hair is in a beautiful waved, braided style that cascaded down her shoulders and back. Her make-up is so simply beautiful, her pale complexion shining, her lips a rosey red, and those hazel eyes that I’ve come to love so much are looking at me with so much warmth I feel as though I could burst into flames. She descends the stairs with such grace like she’s floating down, I reach out my hand to her as she nears the bottom steps, she hesitates, and I again forget how to breath. Is she rejecting my offer to help, or is she rejecting me? The negative thoughts swarm my mind until I feel her hand in mine. I snap my head back to hers and all I see is my mate blushing and looking shy. I smile and take her hand a bring to my mouth and kiss the back of it. Her face turns bright red and she looks at the wall as if it the most interesting thing she has ever laid eyes on.

“You look absolutely lovely.” She looks to me, “ thank you atlas, you clean up nice to I guess.” I chuckle to her backhanded comment, I have a saucy mate. We walk hand in hand around the corner to the sitting room where her brother and Sam were waiting to talk for a bit then see us off for our date.

Mavis POV:

Oh my Goddess. Why does he smell so damned good? When I was walking down the stairs I could smell his scent, fresh cut grass and herbal tea. How very British, and I loved every moment of it. I felt a small smile come to my face. I just hoped I didn't dress weird, skin tight jeans with converse, and a for fitting back shirt, Sam said I looked “hot” but now I'm unsure of my self. When he offered his hand to me I almost died, like how do you refuse that without looking like a total b***h? After a moment I took his hand. His head snapped up so fast I thought his neck would break, and the he kiss the back of my hand. My face was so hot I though it would melt right off, but then he said it, “ you look absolutely lovely.” I was so embarrassed now. “ Thank you Atlas, you clean Up nice to as well.” he chuckled at my comment and the thing that laugh does to me, I had to close my legs tightly before I started smelling up the place with my arousal.

We walked hand in had into the sitting room where my dad, brother and Sam we're sitting talking until we entered. We sat next to each other on the small love seat. My father cleared his throat, he looked to Atlas, “ So Atlas, what do you plan to do with my daug..” right as he was talking a Screeaching came from Sam’s phone. Sam smiled, “ oh sorry the luna wanted to be here to.” Sam turned on the speaker. “Do not embarrass our daughter! I can't believe you were going to go alpha on our daughters mate!” My poor dad looked to me for help but I was starting at sam so intently my father finally gave up. “ I'm sorry honey.” my father said to my mother. “ Thats better, now, Mavis dear you and your mate get going before your father gets himself in more trouble.” my brothers snickered. “Dont think you boys are safe either!” the smiles ran face there faced reached by terror. I smiled silently. “ Thank you mom, well we're going to get going now right Atlas?” I look to him, he clears his throat. “Yes I think we shall he stands and I take his offered hand as we head out the front door.

We walk to the SUV for today's outing I can't help but notice how nice it is, “2021 land rover, ranger rover.” Atlas states. “Saw you checking in out quite intently.” he chuckles. I smile. “ yeah, it's really nice.” we get into the back seat together and Atlas nods to the drive were ready to go. The driver starts the vehicle and we're off to my first date with my mate.

Atlas POV

I'm dreaming.

I have to be dreaming right, how can I not be, my mate is snuggled up next to me asleep on my arm. I could die a happy wolf now. We have been stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours. Which normal would make me irritated but not today, all this means is I get to have my mate snuggle into me longer while I get lost in her intoxicating scent. After another 30 minutes, we finally made it to the ferry that would take us across Elliot Bay, toward our destination.

As we come to a stop to board the ferry, I lightly tap mavis, she yawns and her eyes slowly flutter open she see’s me smiling at her and she smiles back. Then as if she just realized her face go’s pale, and she sits up straight smoothing out her shirt. Her pale completion now resembles that of a pale pink

Color. I smile to myself at how truly lovely she is. She mumble a sorry to me to which I just take her hand and give it a lite peck.

Once on the ferry we step out of the vehicle out to the railing and look out to the beautiful scenery of the bay and the skyline of Seattle.

I see the space needle the seemingly miles high skyscrapers and the Seattle eye...for a moment I miss home, seeing the settle eye reminds me of london and my family. I sigh and then I feel Mavis put her hand on mine and smile at me. Even though she doesn't know what's happening she instinctively knew what to do and I am grateful. We stare out for a few more minutes when the ferry captain says we will be driving soon. We head back to the car, and slide back into the seats. As the ferry arrives we wait as the other cars are unloaded and then it's our turn, then were on out way again.

After what seems like the best nap ever I wake up with Mavis curled around me, partially sitting in my lap. I smile into her hair and then I feel my hardness starting to grow. I slowly slide her off my lap. Trying to think of anything that would kill my growing issue. Then the drive says, “ Alpha we'll be arrive in about 10 mins.” I nodded to him in thanks for the heads up. After a moment mavis wakes up again. Smiling at me. “ Have a nice nap?” I smile back at her. “The best sleep I've had in months. You?” I reply. “Great! I feel really rested now!” she replies. As we talk the car stops and the driver nods we are here my smiles grows wide. I look to mavis, “ so are you ready?” she laughs “I was born ready!”

We get out of the car and the smell of fresh reian and forest invade my nostrils, it's such a pleasant scent, I should get this made Into a candle I think to myself. We walk forward to a trail head area that looks olds and abandoned there are signs that say, “ area closed due to dangerous conditions” I smile. I walk forward when mavis catches my arm, I stop and look to her arching an eyebrow at her. “ we shouldn't go here if the trails are closed we could get on trouble.” I smile to her, “ the trails are closed because there is a pack here and to many humans are in the area with trail open so they shut this area down due to “ dangerous conditions.” she laughs, “oh ok then lead the way Alpha.” I wrinkle my nose at that, “Atlas, not alpha.” I smile at her. “Ok, Atlas”we continued into the woods to our date.

 my beautiful amazing readers, I am so sorry that I have not given you an update on the story a couple months ago I had broken my leg and I’ve been on the road to recovery so I haven’t had him lots of time to write with PT doctors appointments I’m trying to go back to my regular job but I am now at a point where I am happy to report that new episodes will be coming out so stay tune and enjoy crossroad mates!
