Mia’s eyes were shimmering, and the huge smile on her face was going to stay there for a very long while. Candice knew it because she knew how much mia had been worrying over the exams and everything.
Everything with her and Jamie was going okay, but grade and school- and also- not disappointing parents was something Mia had always been careful about.
As for Candice- she avoided her mother at all possible times, and they all still acted as if nothing had happened.
