Eadan drove away, but still not too far from the gas station.  He was waiting for the man to finish his order and payment at the cashier and when he got in his car and drove towards his home, Eadan drove after him.  It was dark, and Eadan's car was black, too, so he turned off the lights and kept a safe distance from the car before him.  What he was doing was most likely illegal, although he hadn't really done anything.  For now.  And he wasn’t going to.  After a short drive, the man did stop in front of a nice, small house in the neighbourhood he’d said he lived in.  And it indeed very much looked like the one in the dream.  It wasn't exactly fear that was going through Eadan.  It was something more resembling dread.
