When he opened the door, Candice was standing with her back to the entrance, looking up at the already graying sky. She was in her usual baggy hoodie and looked like she'd been running all the way to Eadan's house. "Candice?" She turned and he knew if Candice didn't know about his revulsion of touch, she'd hug him. "Hey, Eadan." She smiled sadly and he almost took her hand in his. "What happened? Are you all right?"
