That feeling of being watched vanished. I decided it was probably my mind playing tricks on me. I continued through the forest, picking up dry sticks as I walked, until finally I had enough to build a small fire. I looked for a spot not too close to any trees and sat down to make my meal. I found enough rocks laying around to make a small circle and tossed the twigs inside the circle. I built a cabin-like structure with the sticks encasing the twigs. Using my knife and a few more surrounding branches, I managed to create enough friction to start a fire. I skinned the rabbit to cook it on the fire or tried to anyway.
