Lisa's POV I had been sitting on the edge of my bed for a while, twirling a stray lock of hair around my finger, staring at the closed door. Kael and Calla had left not long ago, both muttering something about work and duty, about meetings that I didn’t care enough to pay attention to. The room felt suddenly too quiet without their energy. I was restless. I stretched, rolling my shoulders, letting out a soft groan of boredom. “What am I supposed to do now?” I muttered to myself.
