Mr. Dechart (Austin’s POV)

609 Words
As I started walking over to Alyssa, I could see her eyes following my every movement. Not looking away. She was scared, I admit that. But I could sense that she was ready for whatever I was ready to bring. When I finally got up to her, I slowly put my hand onto her face and she jumped before relaxing into my grip. No doubt scared that I will hit her again like I did before.  She's lower than me. She's inferior. Shaking away my thoughts, I take a deep breath before leaving her in my room. Going to the garage, I see one of my men guarding the door and I walk up to him.  "Make sure the girl up in my room eats. Don't let her out of my room thought. If anything happens to her, you'll lose a limb." I say and then get into my black Range Rover. He turns the button and the garage door comes up.  Staring the car, I drive away. The drive was quiet. I didn't want to hear anything. I was left alone with my thoughts. I know I shouldn't be feeling this way and I know why we have to do this. I was on my way to my fathers house when I got a call.  Pulling my phone out of my pocket, I saw that my brother, Andre call me. Answering it, I put him on speaker.  "What?"  "I've heard that her family is trying to find the person who killed her dad." I stopped at the red light and sighed.  "I've heard about that. But that's not that important to me. Look, let's meet up at fathers house. I'm on my way there now."  "Alright. I'll bring Dominic and Adrian." And with that, I hang up. Not caring to hear whatever else he had to say.  About thirty minutes later, I got to my fathers house. Pulling up to the gate, I gave my name and let the camera see my face. In a few seconds, the gate opened and I drove in.  Taking the key out of the ignition, I got out and locked the doors.  "Mr. Dechart, your father is outside in the backyard." One of his guards tell me and I walk towards the back.  Once I get to the back, I hear laughing and screaming. I kept walking until I saw the reason for what all the commotion was.  "We need to talk. The boys are on their way." Is all I say before walking to the other side of the pool and sitting down. A maid comes to me and offers me a box of cigarettes. Grabbing it, I pull one out as I pull a lighter out of my pocket and light it.  God I hope this isn't how I'm going to be when I get older.  "Why are you looking away son? You'll look just like this when you get to my age. And that's a compliment."  Before I could answer, Andre, Dominic, and Adrian walk over to us and when they see dad, they just roll their eyes.  "Just like I told your Austin, you guys are gonna look exactly how I look right now when you guys are my age. Better me than your mother."  "Look dad, we have to get down to business." I say, inhaling and then exhaling.  "Austin just because your the boss doesn't mean you won't get a punch to the  jaw."  "Your such a pain." I say and get up. Ready to walk into the house before I'm being pulled back by Dominic.  "Guys relax. We're all here for the same thing. Romani's."
