Innocent Love

Chapter - 6

Anisha POV,

As the new morning arrived and the sun was rising like every day brightness and bring new Hope's but for me, it's nothing new, because I don't have any new hope in my life.

Everything shattered like always. But I need to be strong for myself. I got up from my bed and collected all my books which were placed on my bed. I looked at the clock. It's already 6:30 in the morning. It meant I only slept 3 hours, but it's enough because I never get any proper sleep after mom and papa left me. I only sleep for my health.

And last night I was completing my assignment because it's the last day and also preparing myself for the quiz competition. I packed everything for today, then got ready for college. After completing my morning chores, I came out of the bathroom in a light blue coloured palazzo set. I never wear shorts, because I don't have the interest in showing off everything every girl does. But I like myself as I am.

I started getting ready but again my thoughts came to my mind. How am I going to talk to everyone and especially my uncle, because I know if I should ask him? He will for sure scold me today in front of everyone, but I don't have any choice other than to ask for help from him. Why only me in these situations? I never like to bother anyone. I don't want to trouble anyone, but I don't have a choice. Because it's the last day of submission at college. I only have 5000 as my savings. If I ask uncle, he will scold me for wasting his money, but it's OK. I will listen to him every time.

After I complete my studies, I will return the money to him and never bother him about anything. He has so many responsibilities on his shoulders; aunty, grandfather Mahi's education, and house responsibilities are OK, but it's OK. I will return his money as soon as I get the job.

But today is a very difficult day for him. If I asked for money from my uncle in front of me, then he would come to know everything.

I can't ask for help from anybody, and because she doesn't talk to uncle much. I need to do this like I always do before breakfast. I went to my uncle's room and asked him for money.

After getting ready, I moved out and prayed to God and asked him to please convince my uncle.

Then I moved to the kitchen and made tea for everyone and boiled milk for mahi and coffee for me.

I gave tea to everyone in their room. Then I moved to grandfather's room.

"Good morning grandfather ", I wished him.

"Good morning Mera bacha," he said, and kissed my forehead.

As I know, he had just come from a morning walk. He has had this habit for a long time.

My papa also goes walking daily with his grandfather. He loved everyone.

"Anisha, what happened?" grandfather asked me.

"Nothing, grandfather, " I replied to him.

"So what are you thinking so deeply?" He asked me, but I just nodded my head. Then they started moving out of the room. If I stay there for a long time, then my grandfather will surely find out about my problem and I don't want to create any misunderstanding between uncle and grandfather.

"Anisha, If you want to share anytime, come to me," he said. I just nodded again, then went downstairs.

As I am anytime already in the kitchen and making breakfast for everyone.

"Good morning anuty" I wished her and start helping her.

"Good morning, Anisha, go and wake up Mahi." She said. I just nodded and moved to Mahi.

As I enter her room, her room is like a dustbin. There are so many books,

Pillows on the floor, last nightclothes. I just shook my head and started cleaning her room.

"Mahi, it's already 7. You have your school to attend." I started waking up her. But she just turned and slept again.

"Mahi gets it or I need to call aunt " I said again and sat beside her on the bed.

"No please... spare me in the early morning." Then she got up in a second but again placed her head on my lap.

"Come on di...last night I studied too late,

Please let me sleep for some time." Mahi said in a sleepy voice and I just ruffled her hair softly.

"But Mahi, you will miss your school and nobody will get to know about sleep. She will scold you for sure," I said, and Mahi got up lazily because she wanted to sleep for some time. I can understand her mood because when I was preparing for the broad exam I also forgot about sleep and today I also avoid sleeping because of nightmares.

"Di... I will come after getting ready. You please don't tell mom about my sleeping." She said, and I just smiled a little. After grandfather in the house if I am most comfortable. The person is Mahi.

She is my little sister, a friend and sometimes caring and acts like a mom. I like her company. Her nature is very bubbly and bold. But her total focused on her studies right now.

She left to use the washroom and I moved to talk to my uncle. Because it is the only right time to talk to him.

As I reached their room, there was total silence. Because both of them do not like loud voices. I am getting scared about how I am going to talk to him, because last time he said it meant words which I shouldn't have to forget.

But this time I got a little courage. I knocked on their room door. Just a little came in a voice I only heard. I entered anity and my uncle was talking about something and it was more like arguing about something.

"Yes, Anisha" I heard aunty's voice.

"I have come here to call you both for breakfast," I said, because I lost all my words.

"We are coming." I heard aunty's voice again. I just nodded and turned to go out, but I stopped. I needed to talk to him because today is only the last day.

" Uncle, I want to talk with you," I said in my streaming voice. And he just raised his eyes and anybody looked both clueless.

" Uncle...."I was about to say but he cut me in the middle.

"Look, I don't have the whole day to listen. If you want to talk, speak fast." He said in a rude tone and tears welled up in my eyes.

" Uncle, I need some money for the remaining installation for my college, as my exam is near. I need to pay the dues." I finally said the matter to him and anuty looked at me while worried all over the face.

But my uncle's reaction confused us. He just laughed at me.

"How much do you need," he asked me.

"75k," I said in a low voice.

"What? 75k and you are asking like you need 100 or 500 rupees. Did you know how much work I did to earn money? Firstly, your father does not leave anything for us. Because of his stupidity, we lost everything and he left you as a burden. I don't have this much money to waste on you." He said and left from there. Andy looked worried at me.

I just wiped my tear which tears. And then move out of the room.

I went to my room and got on my bed.

While holding my parent's photo. I cried hard.

"Why do you leave me alone in this world? How will I survive? " I cried harder. I don't know why chacha Ji hates me. Why he always blames my parents?

"Di", I was in my thoughts but came out after hearing Mahi's voice.

I wiped my tears and asked her to come in. She came and sat beside me in bed.

"Di please don't cry...hear take this money. Mom gave me her savings. She said you need money for your college and this is my piggy bank saving also. I know this is not enough. But we only have this. This is 30000." She said. I cried hard and hugged her tightly.

"Di, please don't cry.. Actually papa is upset about some things. That is why he put his anger puts you. Sorry from his side. I will ask him to say sorry to you." She said makes a mother makes a baby understand something. I just nodded.

"It's OK Mahi, I am fine. Don't worry. And please return this money to Chachi Ji. I have some time for an installment. I will arrange something." I said with a smile as I wiped my tears.

"But di" she tried to say something, but I cut her.

"No, but don't worry your dad is strong," I said with a smile. But I only know how I am feeling. My heart is crying so much. Because chacha Ji words are roaming in my ears.

"Come, let's go. Father, must be waiting for you," She said, and got up from bed.

"You go. I will come after freshening up," I said, the moving to the washroom. I cleaned my face and got ready. If grandfather comes to know he will scold chacha Ji so much.

Then I moved downstairs.

I sat silently and started my breakfast. After completing breakfast, chacha Ji moved to the office. Mahi also got up and said bye to us. She also moves. Only three remain. I also got up to move but grandfather's voice stopped me.

"Anisha, come to my room. Now" he said and in a bit stern voice, I just nodded. He then got up and moved to his room. I just looked at anybody.

"Anisha.. sorry.." she said, then moved to the kitchen. I just looked confused about so many happenings in the day. It confused my mind. But first I need to meet my grandfather.

"Yes, grandfather, " I asked as I reached his room.

" Close to the door" he ordered me. I just closed and moved to him. He was sitting on his bed. Then, without saying anything, he got up and moved to his cupboard.

He came with an envelope in his hand, then gave it to me. I just looked at him clueless.

"What is this dada, Ji? I asked him.

"This is money for your college payment," he said and made me shocked.

"But, grandfather, I don't need this. I have money with myself." I said and lowered my head because I knew if I looked at him. He will catch my lie.

"Look at me, Anisha," he said in a bit, angry tone which scared me already. I just look up to him.

"Now you will lie to your grandfather," he asked me. I just nodded my head in negatively.

"I know everything about the morning incident. Now listen, never ask your chacha Ji for money. If you need, you will come to me to understand." He said in a bit angry voice.

"But grandfather, I don't want to bother you about anything. I know if I asked you. You are getting tension and scold chacha Ji. I don't want to come between you and uncle." I said and tears came into my eyes. Then Grandafather came to me and put his hand on my head and creased it.

"Anisha never thinks like that. You will never bother me about any things back and no one to me like you. I just want your happiness." He said softly and made me understand.

"But grandfather this money..."I was about to ask but he stopped me.

"It's your money...yes, your papa has already saved money for your higher studies. He told me last time before he died..." before he finished, I hugged him and cried in his arms very loudly.

"Really grandfather Ji.." I asked. He just nodded.

" Grandfather, am I a burden to you? I asked him again, still hugging him.

"No mera bacha..never say anything like this. You are too precious to us. I am very happy that you are in my life. I am fully grateful to my son and daughter-in have who gave this angel to me." He said," I feel light."

"Listen, never let anyone ruin your innocence. You don't have any tension about money, just focus on your dream. Which is more important." He made me understand everything. I just nodded.

"Now come on, go to your college. It is the last day for installment and you have a quiz competition next week, you know." He said in a happy tone and kissed my forehead. I just nodded and moved to my room. I thankful to God that he gave grandfather. who love me so much...

As the day was complete, I finally deposited my installment for college. Now I am feeling content. I know Mumma, papa, you are always with me. I smile as I think about them.....
