Chapter -22

Rajveer is driving his car at so much speed...he is worried about his Anisha...he knows she must be crying so much...she will fall sick. As soon as he heard her sob on the phone, his heart pained so much....whatever the situation may be, he would not let his Anisha shed a tear in the future...

His phone rang. He is up as his dad is calling him...

"Son, where are you...? It's too late. I hardly saw you leave." Randhir asked in a worried tone as he saw Rajveer leaving...

"Dad I am going to the hospital..." he said and heard his mom's voice from another side...

"Raj, what happened?" Namratha asked him...

"Dad...Anisha's grandfather. He is admitted to the hospital. I am going there...Anisha needs me" Rajveer informed his parents...

"In which hospital," his dad asked...

"Lifecare" he replied and cut the call as he reached...

He immediately ran.... the whole hospital was shocked after seeing him there, especially the staff...

As the owner of the hospital is running like this in nightwear.....yes he is the owner of this hospital.....as soon as he reached the emergency room. He saw Anisha who was sitting there on a bench lifeless...she hadn't changed her college...her face was full of tears....her face was completely red because of Rajveer's heart pain seeing his love in that condition...

"Anisha.." he called her name...as soon as Anisha heard him .she immediately looked up, more tears came out....she got up and ran to him so fast...

Anisha hugged Rajveer immediately, who got shocked was but he composed himself....and hugged her back. He rubbed her back to soothe her...

"grandfather ...he is..." Anisha tries to say something but hiccups in between...

"Ssshhhh. Relax, I am here...nothing will happen to grandfather ..." he said and made Anisha comfortable. He broke the hug and made her sit on the bench...

"Relax baby girl...I am here...nothing will happen to grandfather ...trust me." He said and Anisha looked at him with so much emotion...

He slowly moved forward and kissed her forehead....to assure her that he was with her always...

"Baby where is everyone..." he asked, as he couldn't go to talk with the doctors, leaving her alone...

"anuty...went .. home..to get..money..." she replied and screamed...

"Raj ", at the same time, they heard a voice.. both Namratha and Randhir were standing there...they came...Anisha immediately got up and hugged Namratha...

"Mumma...grandfather," she said and again cried aloud...Randhir and Rajveer looked at her worriedly...Namratha understood her mind. Like Anisha, she was scared of her grandfather...

"Stop crying baccha...nothing will happen to your grandfather." She said and made her comfortable...

"Dad, I will come after talking with the doctor.." Rajveer said and moved from there..both Namratha and Randhir made Anisha stable...

Here Rajveer talked with doctors and looked at the best cardiologists in the city.....they would be here in a half-hour...he asked his hospital staff to He after Manish Sharma...he wanted him fit and fine...

In some minutes, Mamta also reached the hospital. She came and saw Shekhawat there...

"Namaste Namratha Ji, Bhai shab " she greeted them...

"Namaste Mamta Ji," Namratha said...

She then looked at Anisha who was hugging Namratha ....tears were still in her eyes but she had not reacted.....

Rajveer comes at the same time...

He looked at Mamta and greeted her politely. He then saw Anisha. His heart pained again...as before some hours ago...they were both happy... Her eyes were shining with happiness...but now they are pale.....

He came out of thought because of Randhir, who asked him about treatment...

"Dad, I called the best cardiologists in the city....they will be here in some minutes.." he said... and Randhir nodded.....

After some minutes, the doctor's team arrived...there they talked with Rajveer...he made them understand...and also warned them that he wanted this operation to be successful...

In some minutes, the Manish operation started...

Anisha is still in Namratha hugging her...everyone is sitting in front of the operation theatre.....Rajveer is sitting with his father in front of Anisha, looking at her every now...he is so worried about her health as she recovered a few days before..and still not taking care of herself....she didn't have water...

"Anisha baccha ", Namratha called, and everyone looked at them...

"Rajveer looks at her. She is not responding.." Namratha called her son...

Rajveer comes running and looks at Anisha...

"Raj, she has a high fever...." Namratha said worriedly...Randhir immediately called the doctor...

"Please take her to my room. I will check her " he said...

Rajveer took her in his arms in bridal style...

Rajveer and Namratha moved to the room...Rajveer made Anisha lay down on the bed and hold her hand.....

The doctor checked Anish...

"Don't worry Mr Shekhwat, she got a fever because of stress and weakness. Please take care of her. I will give her an injection..." the doctor informed Rajveer..who just nodded...

"Raj, I will inform everyone..you will stay here with her..." she said, as she knew she wanted to be with Anisha...

"Why are you doing this to me, baby...you know I can't bear your tears. Still, you don't take care of yourself...I love you so much baby...please get up ..." Rajveer got emotional after seeing her like this.....

Namratha came and stood beside Rajveer...

"Raj she will be....don't worry.." she said...

"Let her rest for some time, Raj... Come, we said," She said again... Move outside...

Rajveer also comes outside half-heartedly....after some hours, doctors come out, everyone gathers around him...

"Doctor ..." Rajveer said...

"Don't worry Mr Shekhwat, the operation was completed successfully....he is fine and will get some consciousness in some hours...but we need him under observation. " the doctor said and everyone smiled Mamta thanks to god...Namratha also smiled...

"Dad, mom, you please go home and rest..." he said to his parents...

"But Raj "Randhir tries to say something but Rajveer stops him...

"Dad, please... Chachi Ji, you also go home and come in the morning...." he said to Mamta.

"But.." Mamta tried to say something...

"It's OK, I will take care of Anisha also. And you come in the morning with Anisha's clothes as she needs them." He said, assured her...

"Rajveer beat. This is the money which I sought...please clear all Bill's.'" Mamta said and give him money...

" Aunt please... grandfather is also important to me ...and we will discuss everything later....." he said and looked at her...

"Yes Mamta Ji he is right...let's go home...as it is already morning....we will come after 3 - 4, till then Raj will stay here..." Namratha politely delayed her ...

After that, they all moved out of the hospital...Randhir dropped Mamta....both Namratha and Randhir looked at each other as they were thinking why Vikash was not in was a hospital...his father is in so much critical condition and had such a big operation.....but they didn't ask Mamta...

Here Rajveer is sitting in Anisha's room and looking at her...She is sleeping soundly...her temperature has got down but she is looking tired and pale....she suffered so much....at this young age...Rajveer's heart pained so much as he looked at her in this condition....he slowly closed his eyes to get away from all tiredness.....

Anisha's forehead filled with sweat ...her body was trembling...she as if she was seeing something bad in her dream.....suddenly she started breathing hard...

Rajveer immediately rushed to her. And hold her tight...

"Baby....you ok.?" He asked her, cupping her face....she looked at him confused and worried...Rajveer was also worried about looking at her in that state...

"grandfather," she said...

"He is perfectly fine baccha...relax...breath..baby girl," he said and assured her and hugged her and rubbed her back to calm her down...

"I...want ..to meet him," she said slowly after calming herself down...

"He is sleeping because of the medicine..you got some rest....when he gets up...we will go and meet him..." he said and gets mad, making her understand....make her lay down again...

"Please stay here..." she whispered, but Rajveer heard her already. Then she closed her eyes......

Rajveer got scared looking at her in this state. Maybe she had a bad dream. He ruffed her hair and beside her.......

Here Mamta reached her home and got ready. She made breakfast for everyone...as she needed her to go to the hospital...she collected Anisha's clothes for the hospital....when she packed everything and got ready to go at that time, her husband was coming holding his head...he looked at her wife...and then bag in her hand......

"Where are you going Mamta....please make coffee for me," he said. Mamta glared at him. As he is sleeping soundly..., his father had such big surgery...so much happened in one night, but his sleep is much more important...

"I am going to hospital..." she said and was about to go....but Vikash held her hand...

"Why...hospital," he asked, being confused...

"Because of your deed...dad got cardiac arrest.. and had surgery in the night...he is in hospital, Mr Sharma...now your ego is satisfied...right," Mamta said angrily, and why is not justified....because of their fight Manish is in condition...

Then Mamta told him everything as to how they got him to the hospital and Shekhawat helped them...

"Mamta I am sorry... I was not sensitive last night...I don't know how I said so much...but my intentions are not wrong..please forgive me..." he said, feeling guilty, as his father was in the hospital. For sure, he loved his father, but because of insecurity, he said so many things...

"I am no one to forgive... Dad is the right person ... for forgiveness from...and please don't create any scenes there...Shekhawat is there...." she said. She moved out....she was so angry with her husband...

In the hospital, Rajveer took the doctor to the doctor in Manish's room. They shifted to the VIP room. Rajveer insisted....at the same time, as Manish got consciousness back...he slowly opened his eyes...and looked around.... the doctor checked him...

"How is he a doctor "? Rajveer asked...

"He is fine but needs complete rest..." the doctor informed him.....

" Grandfather, how are you? " Rajveer asked and sat beside him...

"Raj...I am fine..." Manish replied slowly and tried to sit straight...

"You please lay down..." Rajveer said, but Manish looked around for his princess as she was not there. She must be crying...looking at him in this condition...Rajveer understands his look...

" Grandfather Anisha is sleeping in the room ....she is fine. Don't worry," he said and assured him, at the same time as the door opened. All Manta, Namratha and Randhir come inside.....

"Namaste uncle Ji ...how are you?" Randhir asked him...

He replied shortly as he was not in a condition to talk much...but Manish asked Rajveer to bring his princess there...Mamta gave him a bag which had Anisha's clothes inside...

Rajveer moved outside....he reached Anisha and he was already up...

"Hey baby....how are you?" He asked and touched her forehead....she looked at him with innocent eyes...

"I am fine...grandfather," she asked slowly...

"He is fine and asking about you...but you freshen up first, then we will go and meet him," he said...

"I want to meet him first." She said and tried to get up, but Rajveer stopped her...

"Baby....we will go but you freshen up first..you know he will not be happy after looking at his princess like that...." he said and Anisha understood, as her clothes were dirty... gave dry because of crying....she slowly got up...Rajveer gives her bag...after she freshens up to come out...

She looks so beautiful without any make-up...just this simple appearance is everything to make Rajveer crazy.....

"You ok baby...should I call the doctor ?" He asked her OK OK and she said no...and Rajveer kissed her forehead and held her hand. They came out...

As they reached the room, Anisha opened the door and looked at her grandfather. She didn't look at anyone. Her dada Ji is all she wants...

She moved to him and hugged him tightly and started crying hard...Rajveer was behind her...he looked worried. He had a fever last night. Still, now she didn't have anything like that that she would fall ill more...

"Baccha stop crying...I am fine, look at me....look, everyone is looking so worried, as you are crying, especially Raj.." Manish said, broke hugged Anisha, then noticed Randhir and Namratha...she looked down in embarrassment....they chuckle...

" Grandfather...I got... scared so much...I thought I lost you like Mumma and papa" she said and looked down...

"No baccha I am not going anywhere without completing my last responsibility..." he said, creasing his hair...where everyone was looking confused...Manish made Anisha sit beside him...

"Randhir Ji...I want to say something " he said, and looked at them. Rajveer got confused...

"Ji uncle Ji," he said...

"I want Anisha and Rajveer's marriage to happen next month..." he said, listening to him. Everyone was shocked and was looking at her grandfather with a shocked face. But Rajveer's heart is filled with happiness as he wants Anisha in his life as soon as possible, but he feels this situation is not right...

"But uncle Ji" Randhir tried to say something but Manish stopped him ...

"Randhir Ji...last night looked whatever happened to me, it's sacred to me so ....not for me.. but I am scared of this princess...if something happens to me she will break down...Already my princess If a lot...I don't want to leave her alone now....please it's my request...." Manish said Randhir and Namratha looked at each other...then Rajveer look at his parents...

"I know you are thinking it is not the place to talk ....but my Anisha is safer with Rajveer......Rajveer beta, please then fill this wish ...." he said and Rajveer immediately came forward...

" Grandfather, you didn't say, please. I am ready to accept Anisha as my wife. If it is after 6 months or next month, I am more than ready..." he said and looked at Anisha, who was crying silently as she worried about her grandfather's health. What happened yesterday... was scared to leave her grandfather alone...? What if her uncle hurt her grandfather?

Manisha smiles brightly at Rajveer's words ..both Randhir and Namratha are also happy...Mamta smiles as she knows why her father-in-law is doing this, but she is happy...as she doesn't trust her husband...

"Anisha baccha says something. " Manish asked Anisha and wiped her tears...

"I don't want to leave you....who will take care of you....you will leave grandfather alone," she said and made everyone worried, especially Rajveer... He was thinking she may not be ready for marriage...

"Baccha, who said I would leave alone..? Mahi, your aunty will take care of me..and you will also come sometime....and Anisha baccha I want to see you married before I die .....please.." Manish said emotionally and Anisha cried hard and hugged him...

"Don't say like this grandfather ...I can do anything for you...but please don't leave like Mumma papa..." she said and everyone looked at her worriedly...

"Shhh...I will not leave my princess now. Stop crying.....look at Rajveer, who is looking so worried.." he said and Anisha broke the hug. She looked at him... He was worried...

"Anisha, we will take care of you like our daughter. " Namratha said and came forward.....kissed her forehead...

Manish needs, as he knows now, his princess is safe to hand... needs that. Everyone comes out needed as Manish needs to rest...Namratha makes Anisha eat her breakfast. Rajveer also has it.....Randhir leaves office as he has some work...Mam needs to sit silently.....Rajveer has been relaxed has Anisha has something she needs energy... has been well since last week, which made Rajveer worried more.....
