We are back open and back to work!!

Dear diary,

We finally got the news today, we are all back to work Monday!! I’m so excited restrictions are being lifted and we can go back to work but it’s outdoor only, thank god it’s the summertime.

And we have to wear masks still, which is going to be absolute torture.

Here are the guidelines we need to continue to go by for now anyway:

“There will be no time limit for outdoor service, but customers will have to vacate the premises by 11.30pm.

Table service only is allowed, and there must be 1metre between each group. A maximum of six adults and teenagers can sit at one table, along with up to nine children under the age of 12. It means up to 15 people will be allowed a family table.

Groups are not allowed to book multiple tables to circumvent these headcounts.

To reduce the risk of spreading droplets through shouting, neither live nor loud music will be allowed.

Masks are to be worn when circulating around the outdoor dining areas or when using indoor facilities.”

So even though there is a serious set of rules, we get to go back to work.

So sorry for the short update but I’ll be back to write in you all out new adventuress.

I’m so exited finally some kind of normality, seeing people and actually doing my job I know sounds boring but I recommend everyone to be a bartender for a year. The amount of people you meet and story to share is amazing. I know you obviously can’t as your diary so I’ll tell you all the stories myself.

Like staying up till 6/7 in the morning “practicing baby Guinness” or the people I have rode after hours. There is a lot of times and stories to share but I’m ready to make new ones. More than likely with new people but some old tricks too. You have to blow of steam after work don’t you?
