“What's wrong?” I asked when Lucian froze beside me.
He glanced up at me with a worried look. “It's nothing.”
I knew it was definitely something since he was acting this strange, but I decided not to push it.
Lucian cleared his throat. "Why don't we continue this later? I need to attend to something.”
I studied his expression for a moment and I noticed his jaw clenched and the flick of tension in his eyes.
"Okay," I said as he walked away.
Making my way back to my room, I took out my phone and saw a notification. I opened it and was shocked to see the announcement of Caius and Elira's wedding followed by the official crowning of Elira as Queen in two weeks.
I glared at the screen as my hand tightened against the phone.
