SELENA’S POV
Standing at the entrance was my brother, Rowan Ravenwood, the future Beta of the Moonbound pack. His suspicious eyes bored into my soul, weighing me down. He was so much like my dad, the same hard face, same steel gray eyes, same stance of strength.
“What are you two gossiping about?” he said with his baritone voice.
Darcy got up to respond but I quickly said, "Why are you here? You weren't supposed to return until the next weekend."
He closed the door and grinned. "I came back early so I could spend more time with my baby sister before she becomes the Queen of Lunaroria.” He pinched my cheeks.
I became sick inside as I looked down in embarrassment. This was supposed to be a respectful moment for our family but I blew it. I didn't even have the gut to glance at him.
