LUCIAN’S POV
The only sound that could be heard was the plane engine humming as i sat across from Selena who had her earphones in her ears and her eyes glued to her phone. Just last night, we had won the grand prize at the Moonbound Carnival which happend to be a couple amulet necklace.
It was said that it could protect one from life threatening danger. I believed it was a bluff but Selena was so excited about it, so i had no choice but to wear it with her.
Despite all that, i felt like she was distant from me. She refused to stay in my room last night and went back to hers. She avoid my glance when i want to talk to her. I was not sure what i did wrong but i hope this trip to Ardyth might make us get closer than before.
