By Monday morning, Harper had stopped opening i********: before breakfast. That was the first rule she had made for herself after the second photograph appeared. She had also decided she would not search her own name, read comments, or ask Mia whether anyone had posted anything new. All three rules lasted until eight seventeen that morning, when a girl from her chemistry class slid her phone across the desk before the teacher arrived and said she thought Harper should probably see it.
