He observed her facial expressions for few minutes and then replied in deep monotone. "Come down stairs for dinner" He said and went from their. Then Lily exhale the breath she holded. She always feel nervous around him, his aura is so domineering. "huhhh, Brother Xavier looks so scary, He is always calm, but don't know why I am scared from him" Then she came downstairs in dining hall for dinner. Her Family is already there. She timidly came towards dinning hall and awkwardly greeted her parents and brother " Good Evening Mom, dad and Brother Xavier " and sit on chair. Hearing her soft voice Her parents become shocked except Xavier. But they composed themselves. Her mother enthusiastically greeted back " good evening my dear" but her father just with expression less face Greeted back in monotonous tone " Hmm, good evening " and Xavier just stared at her for second and replied in deep and calm tone "Good evening, Lila" hearing him calling her name, Lila get shiver in her spine. She looked toward Xavier and he is already staring at her. It feels like he tried to look at her soul. His face is expressionless but his eyes are cold. His gaze is suppressing, she again feel nervous. The dining room was filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals as Lila sat quietly at the dinner table, her gaze fixed on her plate. Her family is sitting around her, but she remained introverted and timid, unsure of her place in this familiar yet unfamiliar setting. Xavier, sat across from her. His presence seemed to cast a shadow over the table, and she couldn't shake the unease whenever her eyes met his. The clinking of cutlery and the murmur of conversation surrounded her as she picked at her food, lost in her own thoughts. Lila's mother, sensing something amiss, observed her daughter closely. "Lila, sweetheart, you used to love barbecue dishes. What's changed?" she asked with concern etched on her face. Lila hesitated, glancing nervously at Xavier before lowering her gaze to her plate. "I... I thought I'd try something different," she mumbled, her voice barely audible. Her mother exchanged a puzzled glance with the rest of the family. Xavier, always one to assert his presence, raised an eyebrow. "Different? You never liked vegetarian before," he remarked, his tone sharp. Lila's fingers fidgeted with the fork as she stammered, "I just... thought it might be healthier, that's all." Her mother's worry deepened, and the atmosphere grew tense. The subtle tension around the table made it clear that something more significant was at play, but no one dared to address it directly. The clinking of cutlery and strained silence lingered, emphasizing the unspoken tension within the family. As the dinner continued, Lila's newfound preference for vegetarian dishes remained a topic left untouched, but the unspoken concern lingered in the air, creating a palpable distance between Lila and her family, especially with Xavier, who continued to watch her with a scrutinizing gaze. After sensing the atmosphere, She herself question in her mind 'Is it so weird for me to eat vegetarian food? why they are reacting like that? huhh.. leave it' she took a deep breath and , again started eating, while ignoring the scrutinized gaze of her family. Then, The dimly lit living room echoed with an silence after awkward dinner, as Lila nervously fidgeted with her fingers. The air was thick with unsaid words, and her father's stern expression added to the tension. Summoning courage, she tentatively spoke, "Um, Dad, I was wondering... about my university. Can you tell me more about it?" Her father's gaze hardened, and he responded with a harsh tone, "You should have remembered that yourself, Lila. Forgetting doesn't mean everything is fine." His disappointment was palpable, though he concealed his frustration behind the words. Xavier, , observed her from across the room, suspicion etched on his face. His eyes darted between his father and Lila, sensing something was amiss. "Lila," he began in deep and calm tone , "you've changed a lot since the accident. Are you sure you don't remember anything at all?" Lila's eyes dropped, and she shook her head timidly. "No, brother Xavier, I don't remember anything, did do anything? " Her father grunted in dissatisfaction, muttering something under his breath, and excused himself from the room. Xavier remained, his gaze lingering on Lila. Ge muttered to himself. "I don't know, something feels off," so nobody heard it what he said , he continued to silently observe his sister, wondering what pieces of her past had been lost in the shadows of her amnesia or she just pretending. Seeing nobody answered her question her mother Amelia strok her hairs lovingly and said " You did nothing, don't take pressure, Your father and brother is just joking with you. Go to your room and take rest, tomorrow Xavier will drop you at college and also help you at university to make you familiar, okay sweety" Lila smiled back went to her ro. after greeting them good night sweetly in her soft voice. After she went back, her family looked at her back for few minutes Then Amelia broke the silence "Carlos , she changed so much after the accident!, don't you think she looked little different? " She asked while still looking at Lila's room. hearing her Carlos drowned in deep thinking. Then after feww minutes he said with cold expressions "If she really changed then it will be okay, but if she just pretending and planning something than we have to be alert, because you know how crazy she is? " Amelia looked at him with pained expression, " Carlos, you are still doubtful?, She is in coma for 3 months and we both know lot of her behaviour and habits changed and she can't act fir this long " then she put her hand on his hand and said in soft tone " Carlos, don't worry she changed don't be distanced from her. Forget everything that happened in past after all she our daughter" Carlos looked at Amelia and then sighed and nodded at his wife words. But still deep down he is hurted by his daughter's behaviour that he can't trust her easily, but still he agree with Amelia hesitantly. On other side, Xavier is in deep thought. He can't comprehend her changed behaviour. He knows she got in amnesia, but someone can't change this much. He still have doubt on her, afterall Lila Throne is Arrogent and spoiled girl. Who can do anything to achieve what she want. But, what she want this time? or If she really got in amnesia. He smirked and said to himself " It's going to be interesting " to be continued.. "
