Melanie’s POV
I just shot myself in the foot but I didn't care.
It was obvious Nurse Betty just wanted to spew her venom at me and I was no longer having any of it.
Without saying another word, I turned and left her stunned in the break room.
The moment I opened the door, I saw other staff scampering away and trying so hard to look like they weren’t paying attention tto what had just gone down.
“What did she want?” Hayley asked when I got back.
“You should know by now,” I answered.
She frowned. “That b***h, Lydia has spread her lies to our CNO,” she said.
I nodded in response not having enough strength to banter with her.
