"Dani, where on earth have you been?! It's not enough that you make me worry like this AGAIN, but then you don't even call, or send a text message?! Mom mom starts yelling at me as soon as she swings open the front door and sees me.
I'm about to reply, when I'm pulled into a crushing hug by both Ryan and my father simultaneously. They've managed to squeeze past mom in the narrow hallway in order to get to me.
