I made it into my room... closed the door and placed my back on it trying to catch my breath.
My room was big but tonight it somehow small... every time I closed my eyes, I saw that silver glow that appeared on my wrist when the bead cracked.
But now with the new wooden beads Silas had given me... it appears they were doing their job again...muffling that energy in my core until I felt dull.
A soft knock sounded on the door while i was still leaning in it.
I froze
"Who is it?"
The door opened without an answer, and Gabriel walked in.
He looked exhausted like he had too many thing stressing him out... i felt a little guilty i had added myself strange problem to it.
"I came to make sure you kept the replacement beads on," he said.
