~Elvira~ ~Present~ The cell door closed shut behind me, the locking mechanism rang down all the way, after the chill of the cell, I felt weak, my muscles trembled , my legs buckled as i tried to walk, so I dropped my hands to my knees to keep from failing. "What do you think you're doing?" a voice boomed. It was the guard... he loomed over me with his body full of dark tattoos and eyes cold as ice. He moved forward clamped his hand around my bicep and jerked me upward. "I’m trying to catch my breath," I whispered as my throat felt dry. "I’m weak." "Weak?" He mocked. "You should have thought about that before you crawled into Silverblade territory, Move it, rogue." I hated that word. Rogue "I'm not a rogue," I shot back. The guard’s expression shifted to pure hatred. "Did you just raise your voice at me?" He stepped closer to me, grabbed my throat, and lifted me until my toes were hanging. "Maybe Alpha Gabriel will hand you over to the warriors for a little recreation. We haven't had a stray to break in a long time." He threw me across the hallway. I hit the floor hard, pain flared up my spine. I looked up at him, my fear became replaced anger. "I’m not a rogue," I repeated again pushing myself up even as my limbs were shaking. "My name is Elvira, i will never be your toy." The guard’s jaw tightened but i saw his eyes flickered with surprise. He stepped toward me and I instinctively moved back, he raised his hand to hit me...but I didn't flinch. I matched his glare daring him with my eyes. "If you want to move me," I said. "you'll have to drag me." We stood there in silence. At the back of my mind, Val stirred. The guard’s stance shifted, his gaze turned wary as he noticed the defiance not leaving my eyes. He spat on the floor close to my feet and turned away. "Follow me, Or stay and rot. The Alpha is waiting." I jog after him, keeping my gaze forward. I had run from a monster of a stepfather, and now I had walked into a den of wolves who viewed me as a criminal. Thinking back at everything that happened since i came here made me bitter and sad, was i wrong to come here? Clavin my step brother made this place sound like a place of strength but the only strength I have witnessed was brutal harassment and inhumane treatment from patrol guards, cell guards and even my own mate! The guard kept moving looking back every now and then to really check if i was following him or if i would adamantly just stop. Even if i wanted to stop and rest again I can't...i didn't want to cause another outburst... so i just forced my legs to keep moving one after the other. I had no idea what Gabriel Grayson had planned for me, but as we approached the doors of the pack mansion, I made a vow to survive whatever came next...
