CHAPTER 12
Jude didn't want to leave the pool. He was staying in this pool for the rest of his life.
"That's ridiculous and you know it," Smoky muttered in his mind.
"Stop invading my thought process," Jude grumbled.
"I didn't say a word," Rylee said walking to the edge of the pool.
Jude sighed, "Not you, Smoky. He's listening in on my thinking process."
Rylee snickered, "Oh, and I can only imagine what you are thinking about."
Jude rolled his eyes, saying, "I have you know I was thinking about living out my remaining days in this very pool. You may look sweet and innocent, Ry, but you are a dirty-minded man."
"I'm a lawyer. I can't be sweet and innocent, remember?" Rylee replied with a laugh.
