  "Luke," I swallowed hard and stepped away from him, "what brings you here?"   He followed closely behind. "Well, I was invited to the wedding, and I just so happened to come across you, lovely one," he said smoothly.   I hummed a noncommittal reply and kept walking, but he grabbed my hand and yanked me back, slamming me against the wall.   "Stop walking when I'm talking to you!" he snapped, his eyes glaring into mine.   I looked around desperately for help, but everyone was too busy with the party.
