Left Behind

Prologue

"Mom? Dad?" the 8 years old little girl yelled as she was crawling at the dark.

She was sleeping when the lights suddenly went off. She's not that scared just because the lights went off but when she heard something's happening downstairs, she heard her mom's scream and her dad's voice comes the second like a shattered glass it cracked as he cries his self out. And she heard her dad shouts like a mad man at someone.

That's when she crawls her way to her door wanting to run downstairs and look for her parents but sadly it's so dark at their house that she couldn't see anything just dark.

As she goes her way to the stairs she suddenly frozed at her spot where she was standing after she heard a sound of a gun shot.

'bang bang bang'

The silence and the darkness is killing her inside, she can't shout nor speak, she didn't know what to do.

'tuggsh' the doors slammed saying someone's went out of goes in

But the little girl seemed to feel nothing but fear, she's trembling and crying.

"Mom? Where are you? I'm scared mom dad, it's so dark in here, please save me mom" the little girl kept on whispering and crying looking for her parents hoping that they could save her from her nightmare.

Little did she know her parents were wet because of laying down at their own blood.They were killed together.

When she thought that someone's coming to her place she began to panic but-

"Hey wake up! Drienne wake up! It's just a nightmare babe hush, I'm here now." Alyssa keeps on tugging her bestfriend drienne, because again she's having a nightmare, tears rolls in her beautiful face while calling her parents. She looked at her friend she feels pity towards drienne for all her bestfriend's had gone through because of that incident, if there's something she could do to ease her pain she would gladly do, but all she could now is watch her in pain and comfort her.

"Hey babe calm down, I'm here, okay?" she smiled at her bestfriend who's sweating and trembling because of her nightmare.

Drienne opened her eyes and looked at her best friend who's comforting and hugging her tightly.

"Hey I'm awake now, thank you lyss" she said in a cold voice

"Well welcome, get up now we're going to be late" alyssa said calmly there's no pity in her eyes because she knows drienne wouldn't want that look.

Alyssa who's been with drienne for almost 4 years already knows drienne's attitude, and get used to it.

After that they fixed themselves to go to school.

'here comes another boring day' drienne said with her eyes rolled while walking lazily towards their car.
