Chapter Nine Cody was already up and dressed when his alarm sounded. He’d spent a restless night, tossing and turning while he went over his conversations with Ty and Carolina with a fine-toothed comb. Ty’s encouragement buoyed him, made him more determined than ever to attempt a comeback. If a soldier could become a one-armed pitcher and strike out Alex Jordan, surely he could teach himself to ride left-handed. He’d need help, though. Question was, who to ask?
