The next few days inch by, thanks to being bored without too much to do. Xander meets me to train in the mornings, which is definitely better than nothing, but I really miss getting to spend more quality time with him. I also miss getting to hang out with Katie. He doesn’t say too much about it but I can tell school has been tough on him - going from future alpha to unexplained rogue probably has him at the bottom of the social ladder for the first time in his life.
Luckily, the nomads, Av and Vi all take residence in the hotel, so at least I have my vampire pack around to spend time with while I’m laying low.
