4 hours, every surface in the room, and a quick jacuzzi later we emerge from our room, hand in hand, looking and feeling totally pacified.
We slide into the R8, waving goodbye to Tom, and take off back to school. I pull out my phone while Xander drives, seeing a number of missed calls and texts.
I call Katie back first making sure everything’s ok given she called me 3 times.
“Jade there you are! Are you guys ok?”
“Yah sorry we were preoccupied.” I grin. “Why, what’s up? You make it back ok?”
“My parents told me you guys attacked Marcus and got banished from the pack?”
“What?!? No, there was an altercation and Xander rejected Marcus as his alpha. No one got banished..” I say.
I feel Xander’s anger mixing with my own.
“That’s not what the pack is being told. Are you ok?” She ask
